I am a big fan of travel to foreign contries as a way of broadening the mind. A year in a comunist regime would do wonders for the education of most liberal arts students. But be cautious about thinking the US should do things like the foreigners.

Making shopping choices for political reaons is market distortion of the worst sort. It is, in my view, immoral!
