What I’m doing Now

My book America: A Repair Manual, was finished and published in December 2023.

Since publication, I am more or less exclusively focused on marketing the book. That means, in the first instance, mastering Amazon which is now the world’s biggest marketplace for books by far. There are also related efforts such as improving this website, email marketing, and arranging book signings and talks.

And meanwhile, regular life goes on! Our busy season in my wife’s Art Gallery is the summer, but winter still has me doing occasional framing of paintings, and tax season is coming up! At home, I’m continuing to work on expanding a Bossa Nova set on guitar, and there’s kayaking, BJJ, travel plans, and so on.
